Animal-assisted therapy facilities
The Eckenstein-Geigy animal-assisted therapy facilities invite you to spend time here and observe the animals. It’s a great enrichment for the patients, their families, the staff of the surrounding institutions and the REHAB team.
The animals used as part of animal-assisted therapy (AAT) can be seen when you walk around the premises. The circular path always provides a new glimpse of the animals. The two minipigs Piggeldy and Frederik and the dwarf goats Elli and Elias are real entertainers. If you call their names, they’ll look around with curiosity. You may also find them exuberantly romping around the meadow to burn off some energy. The two cheeky donkeys also make their presence known, whilst the small pond is often occupied by ducks.
