Treatment
The various treatment teams work together interprofessionally during the rehabilitation process.
They receive support from the concept team, which consists of Heike Sticher (MSc) and Laurent Munch, who advise and guide our staff in their work with our patients.
The goal of treatment is for patients to become as independent as possible. Patients relearn skills during their everyday lives, including not only everyday activities but also cognitive and social aspects.
This interactive process incorporates both the affected patients and their contact persons involved in treatment and setting goals.
The foundations upon which the neurorehabilitation is based are the Affolter Model® and the Bobath and F.O.T.T.® techniques.
In the paraplegiology area, work is carried out according to internationally accredited standards and internal approaches.
Depending on the level of impairment, further approaches are integrated.
